The Meriden-New Britain–Berlin YMCA Gymnastics Team Level 2, 3, and 4 gymnasts competed recently at the Glastonbury Gymnastics Club Local Qualifier Meet and had a great day!
The cardiac rehab program at the Meriden YMCA is a familiar routine for 84-year old Sal Cricco, who has been a participant for two decades.
“I felt a lot better because of doing all the exercises,” said Cricco, who retired from the Wallingford Fire Department.

Hundreds were served a traditional Thanksgiving meal at the annual YMCA Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday.
The YMCA opened its doors around noon to serve a meal of turkey, potatoes, greens, stuffing and dessert at no cost. Donated clothing and non-perishable food items were also available.
“We serve at twelve o’clock and people were waiting out there at ten o’clock,” said Steve Markoja, branch director. “For the (YMCA) to be able to open those doors and help organize this, it’s what our mission is all about.”

The Meriden YMCA is excited to announce that Mateo Vailiz, Grayson Koscuk, Kayden Valentin, Ryan Clinton, Eli Showerda, Koby Benigni, Brady Benigni, Grant Holmes, Jaybriel Chacon, and Geovanni Ramos will play in the New England NFL Flag Regional Tournament on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 in Leominster, Massachusetts.
