Have you been told or believe you are at risk for developing diabetes? There is something you can do about it!
The YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program focuses on small, measurable lifestyle goals that will teach you to eat better, increase your physical activity and lose weight-all of which can delay or prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes.
The program is taught by a trained and experienced lifestyle coach and will follow the CDC’s approved curriculum which is part of the CDC led National Diabetes Prevention Program.
- Meets twice per month
- Nine month program
- Fee: $56 per month (must be drafted)
- This program includes a Y membership if you do not have one already.
