Melody, Harmony and Rhythm
Come join our Melody, Harmony and Rhythm class and have fun with music! Along with musical notation, students learn rhythmic techniques—like controlling tempo, recognizing time signatures, and the theory of harmony. Students will use various instruments, including their voice, to enhance these concepts. Students will also learn about music, developing sensitive and critical listening skills, creating and performing music, and understanding the role of music in history and contemporary society. Will join theatre class for an end of session performance!

NEW!!! Melody, Harmony and Rhythm for Littles! Ages 3-5
This class explores the elements of music and movement through singing, rhythm instruments, creative movement, familiar stories and the foundation of play. Students will be introduced to world music, classical music, children’s music, folk songs, and children’s books while exploring how we can move to tell a story, and how we can create music and sound using hand drums, bells, rhythm sticks, tambourines and more! Parents are invited and encouraged to stay!
