Summer Camp scholarships are available for those who qualify. Camperships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Separate applications are required for each child.
A Traditional Campership is good for one two week session of Traditional Camp. The fee is $75. There are a limited number available.- A Specialty Camp campership is for one two week session of the following specialty camps: Dance, Sports, STEM, Fort Building and MTC (theater camp). The fee is $135. There are a limited number available.
- There are no discounts for AM and PM Extended Care.
- Fees must be paid at time of registration.
- Additional sessions of Traditional Camp are offered at $190 per session per child for those who receive a campership. A $75 deposit and a membership is required for each additional session registration. Deposit fees must be paid at the time of registration.
- Additional sessions of Specialty Camp are offered at $240 per session per child for those who receive a campership.
- Once you are approved you must come to the Y to register and secure your scholarship. A limited number are available and are first come first served for those who qualify.

- Please review the qualification information below.
- Send an email with a copy of your 2025 completed income tax form or D.S.S. budget sheet to the Meriden YMCA at mmdaycamp@meridenymca.org. Write “Camp Scholarship” in the subject line and include your name and phone number.
- Our camp staff will review your information and follow up with you to inform let you know if you qualify and tell you how to register.
