Silver City SuperJets Earn the Win In Fourth Grade Travel Basketball League Debut
The Silver City SuperJets made their Fourth Grade Travel Basketball League debut on Sunday December 9th with wins over Granby and the Bristol Boys and Girls Club.
The SuperJets won the first game against Granby by a score of 29-22. Giovanni Leary paced the Silver City squad with 11 points while Koby Benigni added 7 points. Brady Benigni grabbed several key rebounds in the victory over Granby.
In the second game of their double header, the SuperJets stayed hot and defeated the Bristol Boys and Girls Club, 46-22. Eli Showerda and Jaybriel Chacon were key offensively as they both led the SuperJets with 12 points each. Giovanni Leary and Maurice Christie added 11 points and 7 points respectively. The SuperJets will play their next two games at home Saturday, December 15th at 12:30pm and 1:30pm at the Meriden YMCA.
