The Meriden-New Britain–Berlin YMCA Gymnastics Team Level 2, 3, and 4 gymnasts competed recently at the Glastonbury Gymnastics Club Local Qualifier Meet and did great!
The following girls were competing at Level 2 and for their first time: Brianna Barnes, Cecelia Fenwick, Kaylie Ferrer, Amelie LeSieur, Meliah Velez and Jessica Waterbury. They all qualified for the YMCA Northern League Championships and almost all qualified already for the YMCA State Championship!
Tiffany Tran competed at Level 2 and qualified for the YMCA Northern League Championships as well as qualified for the YMCA State Championship. Tiffany also earned her highest All Around score as a level 2.
Christie Harrison competed for her first time as a Level 3 and qualified for the YMCA Northern League Championships as well.
Four gymnasts competed at Level 4 for their first time and all qualified for YMCA Northern League Championships and almost all qualified already for the YMCA State Championship. Amaya Adkins, Jezebel Perez, Daylianette Sanchez, and Brooklynn Vasquez all performed great on Saturday for their first time as Level 4 gymnasts!
