Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCAs Honors Veterans, Active Duty and Reserve Families

During November the Y is honoring the service of local veterans, active duty and reserves by saying thank you and supporting their health and wellness. From November 1st through November 30, 2017 local veterans, active duty military and reservists and their families (who are not currently members) will have complimentary access to the Meriden YMCA and New Britain YMCA locations to work out and spend family time together.

The Armed Services YMCA and Department of Defense Outreach Initiative offer YMCA memberships to eligible active duty military families and personnel who may not have access to a nearby military facility. Y staff can assist military members with information about how they may qualify for a no cost six-month membership through the Military Outreach Initiative.

For those that don’t qualify for the no cost membership, we offer special rates for military families (active and reserves) and veterans.
