2023 Y & Rotary Golf Tournament includes Million Dollar Hole in One Contest

The Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA and New Britain-Berlin Rotary will hold their 2023 Golf Tournament at the Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin on May 2, 2023. Proceeds from the tournament support the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA's Annual Campaign and the community work of the New Britain-Berlin Rotary.

This year’s tournament features two hold in one contests. A lucky golfer could win a million dollars in the Million Dollar Hole in One Contest sponsored by Better Built Basements. The tournament also includes a chance to win a new car in the Hole in One Contest sponsored by Wallingford Buick.

The tournament includes a Putting Contest, lunch, Closest to the Pin Contest, Hole in One Contests, dinner, auction and more.

“We are excited to partner again with the Rotary to raise funds to support our missions. It will be a great day on the course for two worthy causes and the hole in one contests from our generous sponsors make the day even more fun for our golfers. We are grateful for our wonderful community partners and donors who help us make a positive impact every day. Together we make our communities stronger,” said John Benigni, CEO of the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA.

About the Y

The Y is one of the nation’s leading nonprofits strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Across the U.S., 2,700 Ys engage 22 million men, women and children – regardless of age, income or background – to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors. Anchored in more than 10,000 communities, the Y has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change.

At the Y, no child, family or adult is turned away. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure. In 2022 our Y provided over $1.2 million in scholarships for membership and programs. Through our Annual Campaign we provide scholarships for summer camp, swim lessons, youth sports, child care, family memberships, holiday meals and more.
