About our instructor
In June 2025, Rich completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Afterglow. He first stepped onto the mat in 2014 at his mother’s massage and yoga studio, where he experienced the power of breath, presence, and community firsthand. His lifelong love of movement—from the soccer field to the gym—naturally evolved into a deeper exploration of the body and mind.
In 2018, he graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy and started practicing at Live Right Wellness, where he offered Thai massage and cupping therapy.
Rich currently works full-time as a K9 handler in a hospital and continues to offer massage therapy part time. His work in public safety has given him a deeper understanding of stress and regulation—and a real appreciation for the quiet power of breath when things get chaotic.
