Where: Mountain Mist Day Camp, 576 High Hill Road
Have you ever thought about the 66 acres of Mountain Mist as an outdoor science classroom? During this exciting adventure, we will explore nature and become amateur photographers. Each day campers will hike the Mountain Mist property noting interesting insects, trees, plants, and wildlife while keeping a digital record of their discoveries.
During all of these experiences, instruction will be given by experienced science educators on how to use simple science equipment and most importantly digital cameras. Come join us and become a member of the Meriden YMCA STEM Academy.
