The Meriden YMCA Dance Academy is excited to introduce our New Adaptive Dance Program! This dance class is specifically designed for both children and teens on the Autism Spectrum as well as any other emotional, physical, and cognitive needs that the participant may have. This class is lead by Carolyn Lavelle, Therapeutic Dance Recreational Specialist, along with both volunteers & mentors, providing that extra added assistance to help you get your "groove on"! So come on in and join us for this fun filled, energizing class dancing to the latest dance music out there as well as some favorites such as: Cotton Eyed Joe, The Whip and The Electric/Cha Cha slide!
