Meriden YMCA’s Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner helps local families have a brighter holiday

Meriden, CT, November 13, 2014 – On Thanksgiving Day the Meriden YMCA will hold our Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner for our neighbors. Each year volunteers come together to serve delicious holiday meals with all of the trimmings to families who attend the dinner in the gymnasium, and deliver meals to the home bound. After families enjoy their meal they can shop in our “pantry” of nonperishable food items to take with them. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. for the dinner. Donations of turkeys and nonperishable food items are welcome. Please contact Carmen at 203-235-6386 x15 if you would like to donate or volunteer or if you are home bound and need a holiday meal delivered to your door. Thank you to all of our volunteers and donors for your generosity.
