Meriden YMCA Youth Flag Football Players To Play in New England Regional Tournament
The Meriden YMCA is excited to announce that Mateo Vailiz, Grayson Koscuk, Kayden Valentin, Ryan Clinton, Eli Showerda, Koby Benigni, Brady Benigni, Grant Holmes, Jaybriel Chacon, and Geovanni Ramos will play in the New England NFL Flag Regional Tournament on Sunday, November 11th, 2018 in Leominster, Massachusetts.
Meriden YMCA Sports Director Justin Ferreira said “These players were selected because they participate in our 8-10 year old flag football league here at the Y. They are examples of how to play the game the right way. They demonstrate sportsmanship, they play hard, and they are leaders on the field. I think it's important for them to participate in this tournament so they can gain experience in competing against other YMCAs and NFL Flag leagues in the New England area. These kids are passionate about the sport they play and leave everything on the field. It’s a great opportunity for them to compete at a high level so they can see how well they play.”
