Military Outreach Initiative Special Offers

The Meriden YMCA announces a new program for MilitaryOneSource members, our "Take A Break" program.

A military family could have up to 16 hours of “Take A Break Time” per month, free of charge, during our normal hours if they need child care while they step out for an appointment or whatever they need to do. To enroll in this program the family would have to be a member of the Meriden YMCA under the Military OneSource program where we get reimbursed for their membership, and be accessible by phone while out of the building. Our Child Watch hours are 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Saturday, and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

For those families who don't qualify for membership under the MilitaryOneSource program, we are offering 50% off membership, and you can use our Child Watch babysitting service while you work out, at our low member rates.

Parent Household, Household, and Senior Household memberships.
